Pat Salcedo, MS, LPC, RN, CSAT, CMAT
Pat received her Masters in Counseling from Texas Woman’s University. She worked for several years at a residential treatment center, focusing primarily on working with addiction, including sex addiction, trauma, and grief. She maintains a certification as a CSAT (Certified Sex Addiction Therapist), and a CMAT (Certified Multiple Addiction Therapist) through membership and active participation with IITAP. She has also received education and training on working with issues involving money and work, also through IITAP.  Additionally, Pat has received training and is able to utilize EMDR as an aid to her work.

Pat works with both individuals and groups. She has extensive experience working with impaired professionals. She has lectured on codependency, trauma and abuse, and the unique issues facing impaired professionals.
Pat brings a great deal of life experience to her practice. She has a degree in Elementary Education, and taught third grade. She returned to college, obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, and worked in this profession for 30 years, both at the bedside and in nursing administration. A degree in Anthropology reflects her life-long love of learning.
Pat believes in work-life balance. She describes herself “as an inveterate reader.” She enjoys road trips, Mexican food, movies and concerts, and she loves to laugh.
As a therapist, Pat desires to create a safe space for clients to explore their issues and concerns as they increase their own self awareness.
